True Hometown Banking
Only from Marquette

Our History
Marquette Savings Bank has been part of your extended community for more than 100 years and during that time we have helped thousands of customers with financial services both big and small. We have opened a passbook savings account for a new customer who is 6 years old, helped him with his car loan when he turned 16 and then helped him several years later with his first home mortgage. This is Marquette Savings Bank, “the Hometown Bank with the Hometown Touch.” We call it true hometown banking because Marquette is the only bank with all of its offices located in Erie and Crawford counties.

Our Strength and Stability
We want to assure you that Marquette remains on strong, solid financial footing. In fact, when measured against the three requirements established by the FDIC for a “well-capitalized” bank (its highest standard), Marquette exceeds them all by more than 200%. Additionally, Bauer Financial Inc., an independent entity that analyzes the financial condition of the nation’s banking industry, recently awarded Marquette its highest 5-star rating for 82 consecutive quarters. This prestigious safety and security distinction is one that fewer than 10% of the nation’s banks can claim.

Our Growth
Doing business at your hometown bank just got more convenient with two new branches in Meadville and one in Conneaut Lake, for a total of five branches in Crawford County. That’s 12 locations in Erie and Crawford counties! To celebrate our expansion, we are offering new Marquette debit cards featuring photos of Barbara J, the Woodcock Dam and the Market House. You can visit any Marquette location for these special cards.

Our New Business Banking Division
Marquette Savings Bank is pleased to announce business banking, an entirely new division for the hometown bank. Marquette Savings Bank’s Business Banking will offer a comprehensive line of products that will include business checking, lines of credit, business loans, remote deposit capture and more. In the same way we have provided true hometown service to our neighbors for the past 100 years, we can now offer it to our neighboring businesses.

Our Commitment
Because Marquette has no shareholders, we answer to only you, our customer – offering you competitive rates instead of paying dividends to shareholders. Other benefits of dealing with a locally owned and operated bank are faster responses and faster turnarounds. This promise to keep you first has sustained Marquette for more than 100 years. This commitment to keeping our customers first is a promise we at Marquette will never break.
Again, we enjoy serving our community with our brand of hometown service and are excited to begin our second century with new locations and new products and services while maintaining “the Hometown Bank with the Hometown Touch.”

Best regards,
